Twiggles – Recovered & Adopted

Twiggles was found on the side of the road. She was nearly unresponsive and had likely been lying there for several days after being hit by a car and unable to move. At just 6 lbs, she was severely emaciated, covered in fleas, and critically anemic with a broken leg.

Blood transfusions were started immediately, but her condition was so grave that it was uncertain she would make it through the night.

Against all odds, Twiggles began to fight back. Slowly, she stabilized and started to show signs of improvement as her recovery began.

Today, her broken leg is healing well, and Twiggles is continuing to gain strength while dreaming of a soft bed, and a forever home for the new year.
