Satellite’s journey is nothing short of inspiring! This sweet 7-month-old pup was hit by a car and brought to the shelter with a fractured and displaced pelvis and a dislocated hip. With injuries this severe, his future looked uncertain, but Red Collar Rescue gave him the second chance he deserved.
Satellite underwent two complex orthopedic surgeries followed by weeks of dedicated physical therapy, including laser treatments and underwater treadmill sessions. Despite it all, he faced each challenge with a wagging tail and a big smile, quickly becoming a hospital favorite!
Now fully recovered, Satellite, now called Charlie, has found his forever home with his loving foster mom. He’s living life to the fullest, even attending Dog Day at the Houston Astros stadium with his best friend, Emma! From injured stray to beloved family member, Satellite truly shines brighter than ever.
