Princess Praline was brought to the shelter chained in the back of a pickup truck, baking in 90+ degree heat, her frail 25-lb body emaciated and covered in mange and open sores. She was loaded with intestinal parasites, including hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms, causing severe, life-threatening anemia.
Despite her horrific condition and the cruelty she endured, Princess Praline wagged her tail and leaned in for affection, still trusting, still loving.
We rushed her to the vet, where she received intensive medical care, skin treatment, and parasite control. She slowly gained weight, strength, and confidence with the help of her loving foster family.
Today, Princess Praline is healthy, happy, and adopted! Her forever family had been following her story and instantly knew she was the one. It was love at first sight, and now, she’s living the royal life she’s always deserved.
