Poindexter – Recovered & Adopted

Poindexter was found after being hit by a car and this 17 lb. pup had suffered a fractured left femur and a fractured pelvis, injuries that are often a death sentence in a shelter setting.

Red Collar Rescue saw his plea and knew he deserved a chance. He was rushed to the vet, where he underwent orthopedic surgery to repair his injuries.

After surgery, Poindexter went to a foster home to recover, and it didn’t take long for them to fall completely in love with him.

That foster home quickly became his forever home, and Poindexter is now living the happy, safe life he always deserved.
