Pierson’s journey started in pain and uncertainty. He was turned into the shelter with a broken back leg, and like many injured dogs, he quickly ended up on the kill-list. But RCR pulled him to safety, rushing him to the orthopedic vet for femur surgery.
The surgery was a success, but Pierson then came down with a serious upper respiratory infection, requiring several days of quarantine. Thanks to excellent care and a devoted foster home, he fully recovered.
This 2-year-old, 24 lb Sheltie mix cutie pie got his Christmas wish, a loving forever family! Pierson is now thriving, enjoying all the love and TLC he’s always deserved. ❤️
From the streets and shelter danger to a warm home and happy heart, Pierson’s story is a reminder that every rescued life matters.
