WINNIE MAE was turned into the shelter with a grossly infected and prolapsed vagina, requiring immediate surgery, where it was discovered her urethra was also not anatomically correct. She has several other congenital defects including severe under-bite, deformed digits (toes) and probably more.
Winnie Mae is about 1-2 years old and 26 lbs. Our best guess is that she is a victim of someone trying to create a new “designer breed” such as a Pomsky (Husky & Pomeranian), and her owners threw her out when she could no longer have puppies and make them money!
Winnie Mae took months to recover, and her foster parents were there with her each step of the way. When she was finally ready for adoption, her foster parents knew she was already home with them!
