This adorable little guy was named Wendel as it means “wanderer,” which is exactly what he was doing! Wendel was found near a busy freeway by a kind woman. She got him safely off the streets, and tried to find his owners, but no one came forward. She contacted RCR for help, and he is now with us and has received the necessary vetting, neuter, microchip, etc.
Wendel is only 2-3 years old and weighs 10 lbs. Appears to be a Papillon and long-hair Chihuahua mix. He is just as cute as can be, and is very social with people and other dogs and even cats! Loves to be held or in your lap and sleeping in bed with his human! Amazing that this little sweetie survived the harsh reality of street life!
