We are happy to introduce TAYLOR to the Red Collar Rescue family!
Taylor was on the euthanasia list at the shelter due to URI (upper respiratory infection.) We rescued her and quickly found out that her problem was much greater than an URI! She was septic with a life-threatening infection of the uterus called pyometra. The infection was magnified as Taylor had partially formed deceased puppies inside her uterus. Her situation required emergency surgery. Luckily we got Taylor in time, and the she made a full recovery. Another 24 hours would have been too late.
Taylor is about 2 years old and 16 lbs. Super sweet and gentle with people and other dogs. She loves to play with other dogs and it would be great if her new home had a doggie friend for her.
