Meet Suri

Meet Suri, a sweet senior lady looking for a new home. Suri was picked up as a stray by animal control – scrawny and starving.

Red Collar pulled her to safety and Suri is now enjoying all the comforts of a foster home. It does take her a little time to be comfortable around new people but she now follows her foster Mom all around the house. She has discovered the doggie toy basket and is starting to pull toys out – definitely settling in.
Suri has an adorable snaggletooth that gives her a distinctive look. She also has quite long legs and enjoys using the elevated food/water bowls her foster provided.
Suri is housetrained and will let her foster know when she has to go outside. On rainy days she prefers to stay in and use potty pads.

Suri needs a calm and supportive home without young children. She has been good with other dogs around her size and energy level.

A few words from Suri:
– I have been busy training my foster Mom. When I need to get her attention I wrap my front leg around her arm. Then she knows I am hungry or need to go outside. She picked up this clue pretty fast.
– A power nap is a wonderful thing, to be enjoyed on the couch or in a sunny spot in the yard.
– I find it relaxing to explore the backyard on nice days. Rainy cold days – no thanks.
– Whoever invented doggie stairs is a genius. It is a much more elegant way for we mature girls to access the couch. And I definitely enjoy spending time on the couch!

So glad Suri found a forever home!
