If you are familiar with the movie “Toy Story” you know that “Sheriff Woody” is a smart, determined, and passionate man who would do anything for his nearest and dearest friends. Red Collar Rescue now has its own Sheriff Woody, and he has the same characteristics!
Sheriff Woody was relinquished to the shelter by his owners. Upon examination, the vet staff determined he had a fractured femoral head. This requires orthopedic surgery which shelters are not equipped to do, thus Sheriff Woody was immediately put on the kill-list. With no time to spare, we picked him up and headed straight to the hospital.
Sheriff Woody has had his surgery and is recovering well!. He is only 2 years old and 20 lbs. He is a sweet, rather quiet guy who loves his people and his doggie friends too!
