Roscoe was adopted from a local shelter 6 years ago. Recently his family decided they could no longer care for him, and turned him back into the shelter.
Roscoe was not well cared for. He had a dirty matted coat, skin infection and ear infection. He is also blind in his left eye.
Red Collar pulled Roscoe to safety. He is now over the infections and looking good.
Roscoe is a happy little guy, living in a foster home. He is only 12 lbs. and estimated to be 8 to 9 years old. He’s lively, but enjoys a good nap. He is absolutely an all-out lap dog. Loves attention. If you stop petting him, he will give you a tap on the arm to remind you he is still in need.
Roscoe can be hand shy and will air snap with new people. He needs an adopter that will be patient and work to help him build his confidence.
