Meet PINK, one of our Kaleidoscopic Kids.
Pink’s Mom GiGi, was turned into the city shelter with an injured front leg. Red Collar pulled her to safety, but sadly our vet determined the leg was fractured in several places and could not be saved.
A post surgery checkup a couple of weeks later, revealed a surprise – GiGi was pregnant. Fast forward a few weeks and 6 puppies were born on March 25th- 3 boys and 3 girls.
GiGi is a young 14 lbs Papillon mix. We think her puppies will be a little bigger in the 18 to 25 lbs. range.
Comments from Pink’s fosters:
Pink is so floppy and adorable. She is very acrobatic and loves to tumble with everyone. She is one of the biggest in the litter but is the one who likes to give kisses the most.
The puppies will be ready for introductions to potential families on June 11th and ready to go new homes after June 20th. We prefer that any kids in the home be at least 12 years of age, and that adopters have previous pet experience.
