Martha and her partner, a Standard Poodle named George Washington, were both rescued on Memorial weekend from an area known to be a dumping ground for unwanted animals. They were both missing a significant amount of hair and had bad skin, ear, and eye infections, and were loaded with fleas, ticks, internal parasites and more. They have come amazingly far with great vet care and TLC in a loving foster home!
Despite her prior life of living on the street, Martha is an amazing lovie! She adores pets, belly rubs, and playing with her toys (which she throws to herself then runs after). She is crate trained and house trained. She is very smart and will remember everything you show her. Martha loves playing with George and her other foster brothers. She would love to be in a furever home with another dog that she can snuggle and play with them. She is only 8 lbs and 2 years old. Just a cutie pie!
