Jovie is approx 4 years old and only 15 lbs. She looks bigger in photos, but she is just a little thing! She has a short nubby tail, like a Jack Russell, that wags non-stop. We aren’t sure of her breed, but she has the color markings of mini cattle dog.
Jovie ended up in a Texas shelter with a severely broken femur in her right rear leg. Due to her injury, she was scheduled to be euthanized. The shelter reached out to us pleading for a last minute save. We were her only hope, and we said “yes!” What would have been Jovie’s ending became her new beginning!
Jovie had orthopedic surgery and her leg healed wonderfully! You would never know she was injured!
Jovie enjoys playing with her foster K9 siblings, is great on walks, loves treats, and soaks in human attention. She is house-trained and crate trained. Just an all around great girl with a jovial spirit!
