Meet Jagger Eaton

Jagger was hit by a car and taken to a local shelter. He was about to be euthanized when Red Collar Rescue came to his aid. We took a chance and brought Jagger into our program hoping he only needed crate rest. But x-rays revealed a fractured and dislocated pelvis requiring surgical correction. The surgery went well and he is recovering nicely.

Jagger loves a warm lap to snuggle in. He’s quick to jump into your lap as soon as he sees you starting to sit down. He’s also happy to lay in a doggie bed when his foster mom has to get some work done, he is happy to share the bed with his foster sister. He also loves to play with toys and play tug of war with his foster sisters. He is not a yapper; but he does tend to bark along when his foster family’s pups bark at the door and follows them to find out what the commotion is about when they “greet” someone.

Jagger loves to go lay by the pool and relax and enjoy the sun. He knows how to sit for treats and at feeding time sits for his food. We are still working on stay.
He loves going for car rides! But beware he wants to sit in a lap and look out the window!

During the evenings Jagger’s happy to settle in and snuggle up to watch TV and lounge around. If you try to move him, he gives you big puppy eyes and sometimes the sideways glance, and then just inches right back to where he wants to be. At night he loves to sleep with someone and snuggle up under the sheets. He is crate-trained for when no one is home to watch him.

Jagger is about 2-3 years old and only 10 lbs. He is the cutest thing with his longer body shaped body and his crocked little ear. He is adorable and friendly, despite his injuries!

So glad Jagger Eaton found a forever home!
