Howard is just a young pup at 7-8 months old and 25 lbs! His life was almost cut short, but he survived and is a now a healthy happy boy looking for his forever home!
Howard was found by Animal Control lying in the ditch unable to move. Appears he was hit by a car several days prior. Poor Howard had numerous wounds and a severely mangled front leg. We got an SOS call from the shelter, and rushed Howard to the ER. Sadly his leg was crushed beyond repair, and the orthopedic surgeon recommended amputation.
Despite it all, Howard is a happy-go-lucky boy full of love and life! He does no let 3 legs slow him down! He really likes everyone, including other K9 kids! His hair is still growing back in, but he is already gorgeous!
