HAZEL was rescued after wandering the streets during the beaming Texas summer heat. She lived solely off scraps from a neighboring fast-food joint. She was ecstatic to interact with the person who found her, and leaped into her arms as if she was ready to start a new life. Red Collar Rescue was contacted for help, we got Hazel to the vet, and she is now living comfortably in her foster home.
Hazel is very friendly with humans. She loves long walks and a good game of fetch. She particularly enjoys cuddles and belly rubs, the perfect combination to trigger her daily zoomies! She loves attention and will let you know it! She is a self-taught yoga instructor and can show you how to do the “puppy pose”.
Hazel is crate-trained and potty-trained and an all-around good-natured girl. She picks up on commands if you are patient with her and she is learning to properly leash walk. She is both food and play-motivated, but mostly loves being praised for her hard work.
