FOXY is looking for a new home! This adorable Pom mix is about 7 years old and 11 lbs, and as sweet as she is cute! Foxy is sporting a summer cut in these photos due to the heat in Texas! Her hair is normally longer and fluffier like a Pomeranian.
RCR rescued Foxy in 2019 after receiving an URGENT call from the shelter. Foxy was a victim of a cruelty case. Her front right leg was shot, and the bullet shattered her bone. Unfortunately, amputation was the only option. But Foxy handled it like a champ, and does not let it slow her down. She lives in a house with other small dogs and does well with all of them. She loves human attention, going on walks, laying on the couch, watching movies, and being a lap dog too!
Foxy was adopted into a loving home after she recovered. Sadly, her mom is having health issues and moving back to Australia to be with family. Australia has very strict rules on bringing in animals to their country requiring a 6 month quarantine period. None of us think this would be in Foxy’s best interest, so we are looking for her a new home in the US. She is currently in Houston, TX.
