This adorable sister and brother were adopted from us in 2015 as puppies, to what we believed would be a wonderful forever home! Fast forward 7 years, and their family decided that with their human child’s activities, they are now too busy to have dogs. Our adoption contract requires dogs to be returned to us if the owner can no longer keep them for any reason, so we are thankful that Piglet & Eeyore are safely back with us, but of course saddened that they have lost their family.
Their prior mom wrote us the following: “Piglet and Eeyore are the best dogs that I have ever owned. They are good with all people, kids of all ages, other dogs, and sometimes cats. They are gentle, calm, and loving. Those two are always together whether it be outside or sleeping, Piglet will always find her way to Eeyore.”
We have taken Piglet and Eeyore to the vet and had full bloodwork done, their teeth cleaned, and a small growth removed from Piglet’s tail. They also received allergy shots due to some skin issues. They are current on vaccines and heartworm negative. Both are a little overweight, so we are helping them slim down. Piglet is currently 15 lbs and Eeyore 20 lbs. Thought to be Chiweenie mixes.
Piglet and Eeyore are in the prime of their life…past the puppy stage…house-trained…crate-trained…love all people and other dogs…not destructive…etc.. They are just perfect and ready for the next stage of their life with a committed family.
