DOWNY is ready to start looking for her forever home! Downy, named for her exceptionally soft white fur, is about 6 months old and 34 lbs. She is as sweet as she is pretty! Downy is in a foster home with 2 other K9 kids and she loves playing with both of them. She is crate-trained and working on her house-training. She loves toys and treats and of course, belly rubs!
Downy is a happy girl, despite being abandoned. Her prior owner walked her into a Houston Petsmart, then took off her leash, and ran out of the store, leaving poor Downy behind and bewildered! The store manager kept Downy safe, and contacted Red Collar Rescue. Even though we are beyond full, we knew we had to take Downy, or she would end up in one of the overcrowded high-kill shelters.
