Meet Crosby, a mini Golden Retriever mix boy. At 28 lbs. he is a great size!
Crosby was picked up by city animal control running around a schoolyard. He developed an upper respiratory infection (kennel cough) at their shelter so Red Collar pulled him into our program. He has now fully recovered.
Crosby requires a new Mom and/or Dad with dog experience. Although he loves people and dogs, he is shy and scared in new situations. He needs a family with the patience to give him time to gain confidence.
Crosby is happy with a yard to run around, therefore a home with a secure yard is necessary. Another dog in the home is also preferred.
We can tell that Crosby wants to be part of a family, he quietly watches the activity around him and will occasionally slip over very shyly for a few pets. Once he feels safe and loved, he will engage more and more.
