Cute Cali is about 1 year old and 20 lbs, and a poodle mix of sorts!
She was found running down a busy street by a good Samaritan. They brought her to the ER to be scanned to see if she had a microchip. A Red Collar volunteer just happened to be at the ER with another sick dog, when they came in. Cali had no chip, so we agreed to take her into our program if no owner could be found. No owner came forward.
Cali is shy with new people, and would do best in a home with no children and an experienced dog owner. New situations make her nervous; her new family will need to be patient and willing to work with her to help her gain more confidence. Once Cali is comfortable with a person, she is sweet and loves to cuddle.
