Hello! My name is Bounty, which means generous and great kindness. I am a dainty lady at 2 years old and 30 lbs. And I have a beautiful tan and white coat and cute short nubby tail like most Australian Shepherds.
My previous owner decided to move to a place I was not allowed, and took me to the shelter. It was loud and noisy, and I was scared and hid in the corner of my kennel. Thus, I was deemed too shy for adoptions and ended up on the kill list on New Year’s Eve. I did not think I would be alive to see the new year. Lucky for me, Red Collar Rescue pulled me to safety in the nick of time.
While at the shelter, I caught a bad case of pneumonia, and spent several weeks recovering at the vet clinic. I am now all better and looking for a family that will be with me forever! I get along with other dogs and am house-trained and crate-trained. I am a little timid when I first meet new people, and I prefer a quieter home instead of a noisy one. Would do best with adults instead of young children, as they can be a little too fast moving for me.
If you would like to know more about making me a part of your family, please email info@redcollar.org. XOXO!
