Bijou

Hi All, my name is BIJOU! Which is of French origin, meaning “jewel” or “little gem,” which describes me perfectly!

I had a family, but they got tired of me and said they didn’t have time for me and I was banished to the street and left all alone. One day a nice neighbor saw that I was in need and she took me in and got me to Red Collar Rescue and the rest is history!

I am a whopping 8 lbs and estimated 3 years old. Not sure of my heritage…some say Miniature Schnauzer and/or Yorkie. All I know is I have been told I am adorably cute!

I’m in a wonderful foster home with both canine and feline siblings and I love them all! I hope to have a furry friend in my new forever home too! And my foster mom is first rate! She gives great cuddles and lets me snuggle in her lap and sleep in her bed.
