Say Hello to AVA! Ava was turned into the shelter with her mammary glands full of milk, and had obviously been nursing puppies. Sadly, her puppies did not come in with her, and we do not know what happened to them. Ava was very scared at the shelter, putting her life in danger. Red Collar Rescue pulled her to safety in the nick of time!
Ava is approx 1 year old and 35 lbs, and looks like a small Lab mix. She has such soulful eyes that will melt your heart! Ava does best when she has a doggie friend to help her feel more secure. She is gentle and sweet, and just looking for a home to make her feel loved and safe. Ava will be a loyal family member and fill your life with love and joy, if given the chance.
