Meet Addie! This adorable girl is approximately 3 to 5 years old and weighs 10 pounds. While we aren’t certain of her breed, she looks like a Jack Russell Terrier and Dachshund mix.
Addie has a gentle personality and is social with every human and dog she meets. She is both house-trained and crate-trained, and she absolutely loves treats, belly rubs, and snuggles.
Addie was previously scheduled for euthanasia at a shelter because she was dragging her back legs and struggling to walk. We rescued her and immediately took her to the hospital for care. Her X-rays showed no broken bones, but rather nerve damage from trauma. Thanks to physical therapy and water therapy, Addie has fully recovered and you would never know she was once injured.
