MAIA is one of the cutest, smartest, happiest girls ever! She is between 1 to 2 years old and 22 lbs. She looks like a combination of a mini Husky & mini Shepherd! Her photos are cute, but she is even more stunning in person!

Maia was on death-row at a local shelter because she was injured. Most likely hit by a car. She had a severely fractured and displaced left rear leg and a cracked hip. Maia has undergone two surgeries for her leg, another surgery for her hip, and a bone graft. She had a long road to recovery with physical therapy after each surgery. Despite it all, Maia never complained. She was definitely a favorite of the hospital staff!

Today Maia walks, runs, and plays without any hesitation! You wouldn’t have any idea of what she has been through! She loves to play chase and tug-of-war with her foster siblings. She is house-trained and walks well on a leash. Maia is really a special girl deserving of an extra special home!
