Passion came to us in agony, wearing a collar so deeply embedded in her neck that it had nearly severed her jugular vein. The wound was infected and life-threatening, one of the worst cases our vet had ever seen.
She underwent two complex surgeries to remove the embedded collar and infected tissue, followed by months of healing, daily care, and emotional recovery. Through it all, Passion showed nothing but grace, resilience, and an eagerness to love.
Her foster family helped her rediscover trust and joy, and she blossomed into a playful, affectionate dog who adored both humans and other pups.
And now, her story has a truly happy ending: Passion has been adopted into a loving forever home with a mom, dad, and K9 sibling by her side. After surviving unthinkable neglect, Passion is finally living her BEST LIFE, happy, healthy, and surrounded by love.
