Mikhail life was hanging by a thread. He was brought into the shelter on a wagon with a broken front leg and a severely necrotic and infected wound. Left untreated, his injuries could have cost him his life.
Thanks to urgent care, Mikhail received intensive wound treatment, IV antibiotics, pain management, daily bandage changes, and laser therapy. Once his infection cleared, he underwent orthopedic surgery to repair his broken leg. At just 1 year old and 30 lbs, Mikhail proved he was a fighter.
Now, Mikhail is healed, happy, and living his best life in Minnesota with a loving family who spoils him every day. His story is a testament to how compassion, quick action, and community support can transform even the most critical cases into Happy Tails.
