Mary Ann was turned into the shelter severely ill, along with Gilligan. Had a life-threatening infection and severe anemia, requiring a blood transfusion and emergency surgery. Was found to have an infected uterus and dead puppies in her womb, and almost died from sepsis. After a lengthy hospital stay, Mary Ann fully recovered and is living the good life with her new family!
