Lily – Recovered & Adopted

Lily endured 10 years of neglect and cruelty at the hands of her prior owners. When she arrived at the shelter, her hair was so matted that she cried when touched, her teeth were decayed and infected (all but three needed extraction), and her right front paw was crushed, making every step painful. She also had a growth on her neck that required surgical removal.

Thanks to urgent medical care and the love of her foster family, Lily underwent orthopedic surgery on her paw, including the amputation of three digits to relieve pain while saving her leg. She recovered from dental extractions, wound care, and surgery with incredible resilience.

Now, Lily is learning what love really feels like. In her foster home, she’s thriving, happy, and finally safe. Her story is a reminder that even after years of hardship, compassion, care, and a second chance can transform a life.
