Ladybug was found on the side of the road, unable to move her body, terrified, and in excruciating pain. X-rays revealed her pelvis was fractured, and her left femur had been shattered into three pieces. She was immediately transported to the ER, where she began a long and difficult road to recovery.
Over the course of seven months, this brave little girl endured four orthopedic surgeries, including complex repairs, pin removals, and an external fixator, to stabilize and heal her leg. Through it all, Ladybug’s spirit never wavered. Her snaggletooth smile and gentle nature shone even on the hardest days.
Today, Ladybug can walk, run, and play again! She’s living her best life with her new mom and dad, who absolutely adore her.
