Kip was in critical condition with the often fatal distemper virus that attacks the respiratory, gastrointestinal and nervous systems. The virus had spread to his brain, and was causing neurological problems. His body had tremors, he was not able to eat or walk on his own, and he was emaciated.
The distemper virus had ravaged his body. He was totally paralyzed. All he could do was blink his eyes and silently plead for us to help him. Kip never gave up and neither did we! It took 2 spinal taps, 24 hour care, and months of physical therapy, but he can now walk, run, eat, drink and play like a normal dog! His recovery from near-death is a miracle!
Kip is now living his BEST LIFE with his new family in Pennsylvania!
