When Kandi was found, she had been hit by a car and ended up at the shelter with a broken back leg. Rescue was her only hope for recovery.
Red Collar Rescue stepped in and immediately took her to the vet, where she underwent successful orthopedic surgery to repair the fracture.
After a period of healing in a cast, Kandi has made a wonderful recovery, she’s now walking, running, and getting around with no issues.
At just 2 years old and 20 lbs, Kandi is as sweet as her name suggests. She was ultimately adopted by her foster mom and is now living her best life in her forever home.
