JD was found on the side of the road – injured, immobile, and emaciated – and taken to the city pound. Red Collar rushed him straight to the ER where he was diagnosed with a dislocated hip, fractured pelvis and vertebrae, two severe wounds on his leg, dehydration, starvation, anemia, heartworms, and more. But even in this state, he managed a tiny wag of his tail for his rescuers.
Day by day, month by month, JD continued to beat all the odds and make a full recovery. Today, JD is 100% healthy and getting lots of TLC in his new forever home in Washington State!
