Howard was found lying in a ditch, unable to move, badly injured, and in pain after being hit by a car. His front leg was mangled beyond repair, and despite the efforts of an orthopedic surgeon, it had to be amputated.
But Howard’s spirit never wavered. Even in the hospital, still groggy from surgery, he opened his eyes just enough to let us know he felt the love. With time, care, and a whole lot of heart, Howard bounced back, happier and stronger than ever.
He’s now a joyful, healthy pup who doesn’t let three legs slow him down. Howard runs, plays, and loves with everything he’s got.
Howard has officially been adopted and is living his BEST LIFE with a loving family. This sweet boy’s future is as bright as his smile!
