Gigi came to us in heartbreaking condition; her front leg was mangled and beyond repair, and she had been left at the shelter without any medical care for weeks. We rushed her into surgery to amputate the injured leg, hoping to give this sweet one-year-old a fresh start.
But just days after surgery, we got a surprise: GiGi was pregnant! X-rays hadn’t picked it up before, but she was already just weeks away from giving birth. Despite everything she’d endured, GiGi rose to the occasion, delivering six beautiful, healthy puppies. With round-the-clock care and lots of love, all six pups thrived, and were adopted into wonderful homes.
GiGi herself found her happy ending, too. Now living with a loving family and a K9 sibling, she’s enjoying the life she was always meant to have. From trauma to triumph, GiGi is the definition of resilience, and she’s living her BEST LIFE!
