Beautiful Fleur de Lis was found on the side of the road by a police officer. Unable to move, covered in ants, Fleur laid there in extreme pain, in 100-degree heat with no shade, no food, no water – waiting to die alone and afraid. Despite her traumatic injuries, she wagged her tail and longed for human interaction. The city pound sent out a plea to area rescues asking to give her a chance and Red Collar Rescue answered the call! Diagnosed with a “severely separated pelvis,” Fleur underwent extensive surgery and rehabilitation to become whole again. Fleur was recently adopted by her foster family!
