Fey – Recovered & Adopted

Fey was covered in mange, emaciated and running a fever when RCR rescued her from the shelter. We quickly learned that she had a serious and life-threatening condition called Pyometra, which is an infection in the uterus. She had two emergency surgeries, numerous blood transfusions and spent several days in critical care at the ER hospital.

With great vet care and lots of TLC, Fey regained her strength and health, and her gorgeous fluffy coat returned! Fey’s foster parents were totally smitten, and she is now their forever child!

When Fey was rescued from the shelter, she was severely emaciated, covered in mange, and running a high fever. It quickly became clear she was also suffering from pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection requiring immediate intervention.

She underwent two emergency surgeries, received multiple blood transfusions, and spent several days in critical care at the ER hospital, fighting for her life.

With exceptional veterinary care and constant TLC, Fey slowly regained her strength, and over time, her beautiful, fluffy coat returned.

Fey’s foster family quickly fell in love with her, and she is now officially part of their forever home, safe, healthy, and deeply loved.
