Meet Church, a tiny 10-pound boy whose story is nothing short of miraculous. He was dumped in a church parking lot the day before Christmas Eve, terrified and so severely matted that it was impossible to even tell his age, gender, or health condition. His fur was so tangled that he had to be sedated and completely shaved just to begin care.
Once in Red Collar Rescue’s hands, Church received the medical attention and love he so desperately needed. Slowly but surely, he began to trust again – learning that gentle hands bring comfort, not pain. With time, good food, and a nurturing foster home, this scared little soul blossomed into a happy, healthy pup full of personality and charm.
And the best part? Church’s story came full circle. After being rescued on Christmas Eve, he was adopted on Easter Eve – a true holiday miracle! Now, Church enjoys life with his new mom, dad, and Red Collar Rescue sibling, living the joyful, love-filled life he always deserved.
