Cadet was found on July 4th, barely alive in a field. This tiny 12-week-old, 3 lb puppy was anemic, dehydrated, malnourished, and loaded with hookworms, coccidia, and sarcoptic mange. Tragically, his brother didn’t survive, and Cadet’s life was hanging by a thread.
He was rushed to the ER, where he received 24/7 critical care, including fluids, medications, and round-the-clock monitoring. Despite the odds, Cadet’s resilient spirit shone through, and under the loving care of the vet team and foster family, he began to thrive.
Months later, Cadet is healthy, happy, and full of life, growing strong at 16 lbs, learning new tricks in puppy class, and enjoying the company of his foster sibling. His journey ended with a forever home where he is loved and cherished, proving that even the tiniest fighters can overcome incredible odds.
Cadet’s story is a reminder that rescue, medical care, and love save lives, and that every donation and foster effort truly makes a difference.
