BABY HURRICANE, only 5 weeks old and 1 lb., was turned into the shelter in critical shape the eve before Hurricane Laura was due to make landfall near Houston. He was vomiting, not eating or drinking, and almost lifeless!
RCR responded to his urgent plea! Baby “Hurricane” needed help ASAP! His gums were very pale, his respiratory rate was low, and his body temperature was in the danger zone. Poor Baby Hurricane had the often fatal Parvo Virus and was literally fighting for his life! He was in 24/7 critical care at the hospital for multiple days, but finally pulled through, and went to a loving foster home! He is up to 4 lbs and getting better every day!
We are so happy to report that Baby Hurricane found his forever home!
