Atlas was found severely injured and barely clinging to life under an abandoned house. He had been struck and dragged by a vehicle, leaving him with devastating, life-threatening wounds. Alone in the heat with no food or water for days, his condition rapidly worsened. His injuries became infected, and he was covered in fleas and parasites. Too weak to move, he could only endure.
Red Collar Rescue stepped in quickly and rushed Atlas to the veterinarian, where emergency treatment and surgery were immediately performed to save his life.
His recovery was long and delicate, requiring extended time in a medical foster home where he could heal safely and regain his strength. Day by day, Atlas fought his way back.
Today, Atlas is safe, loved, and has found his forever home, finally living the life he always deserved.
